How do patients make an appointment for further care?
During the intake process, The Bridge Breast Network will determine if each potential client meets the guidelines and if the program can assist them. If a potential client qualifies for Medicaid, the case manager assists the client with the application process. Case managers assist Dallas and Tarrant County residents with application for charity care at the appropriate county hospital. If the potential client does not qualify for 100% charity care at the county hospitals, and funding permits, they are treated through The Bridge. Potential new clients must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a breast health concern
- Must be low income
- Must have income equal or less than 250% above the Federal Poverty Guidelines
- Must be uninsured or underinsured (provide proof)
- Must live in and be a resident of North Texas in counti4es where funding and providers are available
- Cancer must be stage 3 or less and no distant metastasis
What services are offered?
- Early detection: mammograms, sonograms and biopsies
- Treatment: surgery, medical oncology (chemotherapy), radiation oncology
- Survivorship: Breast prosthesis, mastectomy bras, wigs
- Referral services: Dental oncology, Exercise programs, nutrition information, mental health resources, support groups

How do patients make an appointment for further care?
Patients must be uninsured and they call the clinic and medical records must be sent, GDAS determines if they have resources for them depending on a case-by-case basis. They are only open on Wednesdays after 5pm.

Eligibility Criteria
- Adults (18 & above)
- Patients must be referred by another physician
- Patients with an established diagnosis of Cancer
- Patients currently under the care of a primary care Physician
- Patients who are uninsured
What is the fee schedule?
No fee schedule, they are a charitable clinic and do not charge fees. Services are provided at highly subsidized professional fees to make it affordable for all. Routine labs are done in the office to make it more convenient for the patient.
What services are offered?
Chemotherapy for breast cancer, colon, and some lymphomas. Do not take any metastatic cancer.
